Les Hauts-Forts from Morzine
This route is the longest but the least exposed way to reach the highest point of the French Chablais (2,466 m).
Please note that the sections along the ridges and the pass at the Col de l’Encarnette may not be suitable for those prone to vertigo.
The Tour des Chavannes via the Col de Joux Plane
This hike allows you to discover the Les Gets ski resort. It offers beautiful panoramic views of the Les Gets, Morzine and Samoens valleys. Route through the forest or mid-mountain, passing by the Col and Lac de Joux Plane.
The Pointe d'Angolon via the Arête de Chamossière
A circular loop around the resort of Les Gets with an ascent to the Pointe d’Angolon, where the panorama is superb, offering views of: the Fiz and Aravis ranges, the Mont Blanc massif in the background and the Dents du Midi. You can also see Morzine clearly and a stretch of Lake Geneva.
The climb to Pointe d’Angolon is a good introduction to ridge trails as it is slightly exposed, with cables at one point. However, the route is never difficult.
Crêtes de Super-Morzine from Morzine
From Morzine, take the ski lifts to quickly gain altitude and enjoy the fresh air. The trail takes you along the ridges, between flower-filled mountain pastures and spectacular views of Avoriaz, Lake Montriond and the surrounding mountains. Accessible and varied, this walk offers impressive viewpoints, flower-filled passages and the chance to stop for a bite to eat at the mountain restaurant. An ideal hike for getting away from it all with family or friends, while enjoying the mountains at a leisurely pace.
The Pointe d'Angolon
A beautiful circular route, starting right next to the Col de Joux Plane. The Pointe d’Angolon and the ridge walk leading to it offer exceptional panoramic views.
On the ridges of Joux Plane to La Bourgeoise
This hike includes some vertiginous passages on the ridges between Col de Joux Plane and La Bourgeoise, overlooking Samoëns and the Giffre valley.
Pointe de Nyon from Joux Plane
Starting from the Col de Joux Plane, this hike crosses the ski slopes descending from the Pointe d'Angolon (Domaine des Gets). The climb to the Pointe de Nyon offers beautiful views of the Les Gets resort and Morzine. At the summit, there is a superb view of the Haut Giffre peaks (orientation table).
