Park in the car park of the old sandal factory in Saint Laurent de Cerdans.
(S/E) Take Avenue Jean Jaurés to the crossroads of the street leading to the schools.
(1) Go up and pass the schools, follow the yellow markings, pass above the Route du Bac playground, and after the doctor's house, turn right then left before the bridge.
From there, follow the dirt track towards Mas Patiras.
(2) After one kilometre, take the path that climbs up to the left to Route du Noël.
On Route du Noël, turn right, then take the track that climbs up to the left.
(3) After 10 metres, a path branches off to the right, shortening the track.
To rejoin the track, you have to cross it and take the path opposite.
Return to the track and follow it uphill to the left.
(4) Pass the Privée de Can Gratacos track. Continue along this track for 250 m and you will find a signpost on the right and the yellow markings at elevation 881.
(5) Climb to the right, carefully following the new markings. The path goes around the massif, climbing to reach a fork at around 950 m.
(6) Turn right, heading due west, and climb uphill. You will reach an almost flat area in the undergrowth and turn left at a 90° angle. You will come to a barrier and an electric fence. Pass through the chicane and you will find yourself back on a track at an elevation of 1005 metres.
(7) When you arrive under a large chestnut tree, take the second path on the right. A sign will point you towards Mont Capell (the first track on the right is private). From there, follow the red and yellow markings (GRP®) to Saint Laurent.
After a steep climb, you will arrive at Mont Capell.
(8) From there, the red and yellow markings of the Tour du Vallespir should take you back to Saint Laurent de Cerdans. The trail descends southwards, crossing ferns and then a small pine forest where you will need to descend slowly as the slope is steep and stony. Reach the crossroads of Saint Laurent and Coustouges
(9) Take the path on the right that descends.
Find the track that leads to the water catchment area, turn left and follow the track, cross a pine forest and continue along the track (approx. 2 km).
A small path on the right descends to a dirt track (be careful, there is a small steep section).
Return to the dirt track, turn right onto the track and after a left-hand bend, the path is on the right.
You will arrive at the Fontaine de l'Amor.
(10) Turn left to reach Saint Laurent (Puig Sec district), go down the street and turn right onto Carrer de Tortella. After two hairpin bends, you will reach the multi-purpose hall on the right. Then go to the first crossroads.
(1) Retrace your steps to return to the car park (S/E).
