Access: Depart from Saint-Laurent-de-Cerdans towards Arles-sur-Tech. After the HLM building, take the first road on the left and cross the bridge on the left. Immediately after the bridge, leave the road leading to the rubbish tip on your left, pass the first track on the left leading to Mas des Planes and leave your vehicle in the car park at the Cazottes junction (a small hamlet of five houses).
(S/E) Follow the tarmac road heading north-north-west. Leave the first forest track blocked by a chain on the left.
(1) Take the second track, also on the left: less travelled, it runs parallel to the road. After about 200 metres, turn left at the hairpin bend going uphill. Follow this track to a crossroads.
Take the track opposite. After about 200 metres, on the left, you will see the ruins of Serra d'en Grill.
(2) Visit these ruins, which include a beautiful trough and a few walls that are still standing (it was still inhabited 50 years ago). Return to the track and head left uphill. Follow this track until you reach a junction at the foot of a large tree.
(3) Take the path on the left (from here you will be on a path shared with hunters) and follow it to Roc Dels Pins. At the top, there is a 360° view of the entire valley, the Towers of Cabrens, Trezes Vens and Costabonne.
(4) To leave, continue 20 metres south (be careful of the overhang) and take a very small path on the right that winds downhill to join another path about 150 metres below, which you will take to the left. Follow it to a dirt track.
(5) At the dirt track, head south (right) for about 50 metres, then turn left (north-east) onto a downhill path marked in yellow. Turn right about 150 metres further on, then pass in front of the Fontaine des Traginers (Muleteers' Fountain). Be careful, it is in a damp area, 2 metres below a large tree on your left in the leaves (there is a sign on the large tree)
(6) Continue descending towards the northeast. At the next junction, turn right onto a track. Follow this track to the right, then in the right-hand bend, take a wide path opposite you, which descends rapidly to join a dirt track at the bottom of the valley.
(7) Turn right, heading north-northeast, following the stream. This path leads back to the tarmac road where you left your vehicle. Turn left to reach it (S/E).
