Park at Place de la République in the car park next to Saint-Étienne Church.
(S/E) Leave the square and take Rue du Lieutenant Olive on the left, then immediately turn right onto Rue de la Poste and, 30 m further on, turn left onto Rue des Chaillots.
(1) At the junction, take Route du Lac on the left, proceeding with caution until the first bend.
(2) Leave the road and take a path downhill to the right (not shown on the IGN map). Join Route du Lac at the Lavaud bridge.
(3) Cross the bridge carefully and turn onto the track on the right immediately afterwards (the track is only partially marked on the IGN map). Pass under a power line and join a road.
(4) Take the path uphill to the left until you reach the next road (D36d).
(5) First turn right then left (road/path). Pass two turnings on the left then another on the right. Reach the road and cross it carefully to take the path opposite until you reach a junction.
(6) Turn onto the path on the right, pass a path on the right and continue to the village of Bougazeau.
(7) At the T-junction, turn left, then, 70 m further on, turn onto the path on the right. Follow it until you cross the D36d with care and continue along the path opposite. Pass a turn-off on the left and continue slightly downhill to the next path on the left. Take this to the D913.
(8) Take the road on the left with care, then, 30 m further on, turn onto the path going uphill to the right. Follow it (path then road) to Séjallas. Pass the hamlet and, at a sharp bend to the right, leave the road for the path opposite. Continue along it for about 600 m.
(9) At the T-junction, turn right, then, after about a hundred metres, turn right onto the road. Follow it carefully untilthe second path on the left. Follow this until the entrance to Éguzon-Chantôme (path and Pouzat district).
(10) Take the D45 on the right with care, then very quickly the D913 on the left. Cross Éguzon-Chantôme to the Place de la République (S/E) via Rue Raymond Lagoutte and then Rue Camille Toussaints.
