Description of the walk

Park in the car park on the church square.

(S/E) Keep your eyes peeled from the very first steps: several sculptures are visible right from the start. Opposite the church, walk down the village's Rue Principale on the right until you reach the crossroads.

(1) Continue straight on Route des Tuileries until you reach the edge of the village.

(2) Turn right onto Route de la Brande and arrive at Square Bertrand Thomas.

(3) Walk around the square to admire two remarkable sculptures, then continue your walk down the wide dirt track heading north-west. Pass under the power line, cross the Ruisseau de Bord stream and turn left onto the path to rejoin the D91 departmental road.

(4) Cross it carefully and follow the path opposite towards Bord. Once you reach the hamlet, turn left and walk for about 150 metres.

(5) Leave the road and turn left onto a wide dirt track that crosses the Bord stream again.

(6) Pass by the Pierre Là dolmen and come out onto the D30 (Route du Lac).

(7) Turn left onto this road and continue to the stop sign at the crossroads you passed on the way there.

(1) Cross the D91 with caution, continue straight ahead on Rue du Stade and return to Square Bertrand Thomas. Then turn right onto Rue de Stade, pass in front of the City Stade and reach the crossroads located at the sculpture company, a testament to local craftsmanship, and the cemetery.

(8) Turn right to pass between the two, return to Rue Principale and follow it to the right, passing in front of the town hall, before returning to the church car park (S/E).

Agricultural landscapes and hedgerows: evidence of the link between nature, working the land and artistic creation.

The route is well described; there are no signposts, but it’s impossible to go wrong.
A short but interesting walk: lots of concrete sculptures in the village and, to finish, a dolmen!
