Pranles via the Route des Dragonnades
A short walk through the woods, ideal in hot weather.
From Privas to Château de Liviers
Circular walk starting from the Champ de Mars in Privas. The walk takes you up to Liviers Castle via the Escaliers de Ternis, the Neuve bathing spot and the hamlet of Ladreyt. The descent follows a lovely path down to the hamlet of Villeneuve. On the way back, you can continue on to the Rocher de la Sorcière via Le Petit Tournon.
The Serre de l'Église and the Grottes de la Jaubernie
Apart from the distance, this is an easy hike on good trails through typical Ardèche landscapes. At the summit, there are beautiful views of the Rhône and Ouvèze valleys and, at the end of the walk, you can discover the famous Jaubernie caves, which served as troglodyte dwellings for Protestants driven out of Privas during the Wars of Religion.
A circular around Pranles
A lovely, easy hike that will allow you to discover Pranles' three remarkable sites (in season): the Moulin de Mandy, the Romanesque church and the Protestant Museum. It can be done with children aged around ten, provided they are fit enough to cover the distance. There are also beautiful views of the knolls and volcanoes and, further away, the Alps (in good weather).
Le Serre des Ayres
A short walk offering views of the Ouvèze Valley, Privas and, on a clear day, the Alps.
Tour des Bros in Coux
On this route, you will overlook the Ouvèze valley and walk along the Grads plateau, a unique natural area.
The summit of Charray Mountain from Veyras
Starting from Pierre Plantée, this beautiful route offers magnificent panoramic views of Coiron, the Ouvèze and Mézayon valleys, Baronnies and Vercors. An interesting discovery is the site of the former Priory of Charray.
Please note that some sections of the balcony trail may be uncomfortable for those prone to vertigo.
The Chirouse Volcano
A very pleasant route through the Ardèche forest and its peaceful little hamlets. The omnipresent calm allows you to recharge your batteries and become one with nature.
Bois Laville, starting from Veyras
A lovely family walk along well-marked paths. Facilities for a lunch break along the route. Suitable even in summer as most of the walk takes place in the woods.
Serre de Pied-de Boeuf
A very beautiful hike offering exceptional and magnificent panoramic views of the Alps, Mont Blanc, Dévoluy, Vercors, etc., and allowing you to alternate between varied basalt and agricultural landscapes. You will also pass by the site of an ancient tomb, which is well worth a visit.
Forests and hamlets of the Eyrieux Valley
A beautiful loop in the hills above the Eyrieux Valley, where you can discover charming little hamlets and isolated houses in the purest Ardèche style.
Circular route above Les Ollières-sur-Eyrieux
This short route allows you to appreciate a different side of this area through the orchards as you gently climb above the Eyrieux valley. It continues through distinctly Mediterranean vegetation before winding its way down through a majestic forest where deciduous trees, thorny bushes and boxwood grow side by side.
Gournier Waterfall and Rochessauve Castle in Alissas
A magnificent circular walk from Alissas with a detour to the Gournier waterfall and a view of the Château de Rochessauve.
Circular from Les Ollières-sur-Eyrieux to Conjols
This circular loop above the Eyrieux leads to the pretty hamlet of Conjols and offers beautiful views of the Eyrieux Valley. Due to some steeper and stony sections before Conjols, this short walk has been rated as moderately difficult. The return journey is along beautiful paths and then the Voie Verte cycle path along the Eyrieux.

The Serre de Lès offers a magnificent 360° panorama.
