Park in the car park at the crossroads known as "La Croix du Bouchet" near the rubbish bins.
(S/E) Take Chemin de Charbonnier right next to No. 3 and follow it down to the small bridge.
(1) Cross the small bridge (on the right) and arrive at the Moulin de Mandy. During the season, it is open to visitors, so don't hesitate to take a look, including the hydraulic route, etc.
Walk along the mill on your right and take the forest path that goes up into the woods, heading west. Take the first bend to the right and you will arrive just above the mill. Then turn left at thesecond bend. Continue along the forest path to reach the church of Pranles. Take the opportunity to visit it. It is a small Romanesque church, one of the prides of Pranles.
(2) Turn your back on the church and head straight towards the cemetery opposite. Take Rue du Cimetière (signposted "Cordon Blanc and Saint-Étienne de Serres"), follow it and continue along the path towards the hamlet of Serret a little further on the right. The path narrows and leads gently to the hamlet.
(3) Walk down about 15 metres without entering the hamlet, turn immediately left and take the first path that appears alongside a small metal shelter (yellow and white marker faded but clearly visible). From here, take the famous Route des Dragonnades. Continue along this path.
Please note: At the first fork, take the left path and climb gently into the woods (yellow-white markers here and there on the trees). Continue climbing until you reach a small stream.
(4) Cross it and climb the path. Pass several livestock barriers (please follow the instructions). This will take you to the Cordon Blanc road (D344A). Admire the view to the east or north-east. If the weather is clear, you can see the Rhône valley and the Alps in the distance beyond the hills. Mont Blanc can also be seen when the weather is very clear.
(5) Descend to the right on the road to reach Cordon Blanc.
(6) Turn right towards Le Boushet de Pranles, descending via the small tarmac road.
(7) Pass above Le Bouchet, then the Protestant Museum. Take the time to visit it and return to the starting point without changing roads (S/E).
