Departure from Luzarches station, yellow signposting, L14.
(S/E) With your back to the station, take Rue Éric Satie opposite. At the bottom, cross at the small roundabout and follow the paved path on the pavement opposite, between two houses, keeping to the right. Turn right onto Rue Honoré Daumier and enter the botanical garden. Inside, continue along the brick-paved path on the left (twice) then turn right and left. The garden has two exits; take the right-hand exit, walk along Rue du Vexin and, at the junction with Allée du Pays de France, turn left and follow the street to the right until you reach Place de la République.
(1) Continue straight ahead (south), follow the fence and the large gate (Château de la Motte) to reach Rue Abbé Soret. At the stop sign, turn left onto Rue Saint-Damien. Pass the church and the cemetery car park.
(2) Leave the village and cross the bridge over the Route Nationale.
(3) At the roundabout after the bridge, continue along the path that branches off to the left (red and whiteGR®1andGR®655signs; view of the church). At the first crossroads, take the path on the right and continue across the fields. When you reach the small road, turn left and continue for 100 metres.
(4) At the houses, turn right (GR®655) and leave theGR®1continuing along the road. Walk along the edge of a wood. At the bottom of the sunken lane, turn left and then left again at the crossroads with the road. After crossing the Ysieux, walk alongside the pony club and then take the street on the right.
(5) At the stop sign, turn left. At the bend, continue straight ahead on the yellow-marked path that starts on the pavement on the left between two houses. Climb up to reach a sunken path (yellow mark) which you follow to the left. When you reach the field, turn left and follow it. You will come to a three-way junction just after a small hedge on your right.
(6) Turn right and follow the red and white markings ofthe GR®655for a short while. At the next junction, leave theGR® straight ahead and take the path on the right that runs alongside a hedge on your right. Continue straight ahead, go downhill, pass a school on your left and you will come to a roundabout.
(7) Cross the departmental road at the pedestrian crossing and turn left onto the pavement for 200 metres. Then turn right towards Le Plessis-Luzarches. At the entrance to the village, turn right onto Rue de l'Abreuvoir to find the wash house at the end of the street (after the wooden barrier). Retrace your steps and go up Ruelle de la Fontaine au Coq. At Place des Tilleuls, turn right onto Rue de Lassy. Continue until you reach Lassy, passing the church on Grand Rue. Take Ruelle du Lavoir on the right at the bend and you will find another wash house 150 metres further on.
(8) Retrace your steps and turn right to continue along Grand Rue. Before leaving the village, take the small street on the right (white metal gate, no. 41). The street gives way to a path which you follow west then north-west for about 1 km, ignoring the paths on either side.
(9) At the crossroads at the corner of a wood, continue straight ahead. Head north-west to Gascourt, passing two other crossroads.
(10) In the hamlet, cross the small road. Turn right onto this road, then left to take the path that runs along the wall and leads to the wash house. Follow it and follow the yellow markings in the woods. When you reach the small road again, turn left. At the crossroads, turn left and continue to the roundabout.
(3) Cross the bridge over the Route Nationale again.
(2) Pass the cemetery and the church and return to Place de la République.
(1) Turn left and continue along Rue Bonnet. At Les Halles, turn right and then take the first left (Rue Vivien).
(11) At Boulevard de la Fraternité, turn right and follow this road to the station (S/E).
