The vineyards of Branceilles

Parking at the town hall square.

(S/E) Join the D10 (Route de la Vigne) and follow it to the left until you reach the Branceilles wine cellar (yellow markings). Continue for about 50 metres.

(1) Take the D163 on the right towards the hamlet of Le Portail. Continue to the crossroads.

(2) Turn left and continue to Triadoux.

(3) Continue straight ahead on the small tarmac road. At the crossroads, take the D10 on the right (slightly busier road). Pass through La Bourdie (a remarkable house with a dovecote porch and a studded door) and continue straight ahead. At the three-way junction, stay on the D10 for about 50 metres.

(4) Turn left towards the hamlet of Le Perrier, which has some beautiful houses. Continue to a four-way junction.
(5) Turn left. After about 100 metres, leave the wide path on your left and go straight up a slightly steep, stony path towards the hamlet of Crauffon (bread oven). Once in the hamlet, continue straight on to the mission cross.

(6) Enjoy the view of Branceilles on your right. Take the D10 opposite for 100 m, then turn right down a small road that leads to Branceilles.

(1) Turn right to reach the town hall car park (S/E).
