Departure from Meyssac, Clos du Quercy car park, next to the AD garage.
(S/E) Leave the car park and cross Boulevard du Quercy (Route de Collonges-la-Rouge), which you should follow to the right for 100 metres. At the corner of the Super U, turn left into Impasse de La Peatland. Walk alongside the buildings of the Institut Médico Éducatif and continue straight ahead on the grassy path to the crossroads. Note the small red stone cross, Croix du Breuil, at the end of the path on the right.
(1) Leave the road on the right, which will be the return route, and continue along the small road opposite towards Bois du Peuch. Follow it to the wash house.
(2) At the crossroads by the wash house, leave the Route de Beauregard on your right and continue almost opposite on the Route de Bernoux, which you should follow for 100 metres.
(3) At the rugby stadium, take a grassy path on the left that runs through the middle of the meadows. It leads to the small Route de Berle, which you should follow to the left for 400 m.
(4) At the three-way junction, take a look at the Berle fountain on the left.
(5) Turn around and go back to the three-way junction.
(4) Turn left at a 90° angle. Walk past the veranda of a house and take the grassy path opposite, ignoring the path on the right. Follow this path to Route du Peuch.
(6) At the crossroads, ignore Route du Peuch and Chemin des Sarrades (tarmac) on the right and take the path almost opposite. 50 m further on, at the three-way junction, take the left-hand path. 200 m further on, turn onto the right-hand path which leads to Source du Veil.
(7) Continue straight ahead until you reach Route de Fradasse, where you should turn right and continue straight ahead for 450 metres, ignoring Route de Chauzal on your left. Turn onto the path on the left, which crosses a walnut grove and joins a cross path.
(8) At the crossroads, take theGR®480on the right. Follow it for 200 m and, at the buildings, take the path on the right that passes in front of a farm (bread oven).
(9) At the houses, continue straight ahead on the path that descends to Route de Leyge. Cross the road and continue along the path opposite until you reach the D28.
(10) Cross the road (be careful, it is quite busy). Follow it to the right for 50 metres and turn left onto Route de la Bertine Haute, which you should follow for 1 kilometre. Ignore Route de Puy Gauthier on the left and continue to the crossroads 50 metres further on (iron cross).
(11) Turn right onto the road towards Vigne Grande - La Fouillade. At the three-way junction, turn left towards La Rivière. Continue straight ahead, ignoring the road on the left that leads to the river. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead. As you cross the bridge, note the pipe on the right, carved out of a block of stone, which spans the stream.
(12) Take the road that climbs to the left. At the next crossroads, turn right onto Route de La Gondronne. 500 metres further on, ignore Route du Breuil on the left and continue straight ahead to the initial crossroads.
(1) Turn left onto the same path you took on the way there and return to the Clos du Quercy carpool car park (S/E).
