The valleys north of Lanvenegen

This walk follows sections of the three main routes in the area: the Tour de Locmaria with its chapel and narrow paths, the Circuit des Asphodèles with its ecological and Breton-themed focus, and theGR®38, which crosses the entire region, taking you past the main attractions.
A lovely, mainly wooded, undulating walk, with sunken paths, rivers and unusual spots.

A very beautiful walk along a quiet road, but this is to better access the superb sunken path and forest. Thank you. I recommend this walk.

Hello,
I did the route in the opposite direction to the one you suggest, following the signposting, which is very well done, and a local guide
However, I did use your guide for the points of interest.
A lovely walk

A lovely walk, not very busy and with beautiful scenery. Quite a strenuous hike. The problem is that there are lots of possible routes and the directions don’t quite match up between the description and the actual terrain. I think it needs updating. Thanks anyway for this route.

This is the second time we’ve explored the Lanvénegen area, and we’ve never managed to follow the prescribed route exactly! You have to stay alert: there are numerous routes and alternative routes criss-crossing the area, with countless junctions, and the route is sometimes well hidden – the app and the map are essential.
All in all, a lovely, undulating route in the heart of the countryside.

Exploring the beautiful sunken lanes. The church at Lanvenegen is well worth the short detour to see. The Visorando app proved very useful at a few junctions, as the signposts were hidden or had disappeared. All in all, a lovely day!
