Les Rabottes

(S/E) At the bus shelter, with your back to the church, turn left onto Rue de Bada. Walk past the houses and continue straight ahead to the crossroads. At number 15, turn right onto the country road.

(1) On Route du Grand Moulin, turn right towards the hamlet and, just before the stop sign, turn right onto the grassy path running parallel to the D725.

(2) Follow the path, then turn right (very beautiful tree) onto the tarmac path towards the woods.

(3) Follow this path, cross the stream and the pumping station, and at the T-junction, turn left and climb slightly. You will arrive at a three-way junction.

(4) Go down to the left towards pleasant undergrowth. Cross the ford, walk along a field to a small road.

(5) Cross this road, walk along the woods and cross a stream. Walk along the hedge on your left and cross a small clearing to find more undergrowth on winding, recently opened paths.

(6) At the edge of the undergrowth, turn right onto a grassy path and continue to a tarmac road.

(7) Turn right onto it towards the buildings. At the bend, take the grassy path on the left towards other houses. Walk down through the hamlet in the middle of a hilly landscape. Then turn left to the Gâteau house.

(8) Go down the small path on the right, cross the ford, and continue straight ahead, ignoring the path on the right. Leave the path on the left at the end of the field, pass between the hedge on the left and the woods on the right. On the flat section, turn right under the trees and continue to the road.

(9) Cross the road and enter a chestnut grove. At the intersection, continue straight ahead on a bumpy path through more scattered trees. After a bend, leave the path on the right and descend into an open area with a beautiful view of the valley and surrounding hills. Follow the white path on the right towards Les Rabottes.

(10) When you reach the corner of the house, turn right at a right angle onto the path. Continue straight ahead between the fields , enjoying the view of the rolling countryside as you approach the village. Pass by the silo and you will arrive in front of a barn.

(11) Take the grassy path on the right towards the road and the sports facilities. Turn left and you will arrive at the road.

(12) Turn left, cross the small bridge, then turn right at the intersection towards the bus shelter (S/E).
