Description of the walk

The starting point for this stage is at the Relais Alpin (Col des Mosses).

(S) When you leave the hotel, turn right and walk to the end of the building, where you will see a grassy path that leads to a small road. Continue along this road until you reach Chemin du Lioson.

(1) Head south and follow the signs for Les Diablerets. Continue along this small road until you reach a crossroads.

(2) Follow the direction indicated by a yellow sign with a hiker pictogram. Take Chemin des Crosérins for about 2 km. After two bends, at the end of the small road, you will see a signpost.

(3) Follow the signs for Odiou for 15 minutes. Take the left-hand path and, very soon after a bend, look out for another sign.
Turn left again towards Odiou. After climbing through the forest, you will reach a crossroads.

(4) Take a short detour to the right towards the Odiou farm and enjoy a panoramic view of the Leysin towers. Return to the junction.

(4) Follow the sign for "Chersaule 15 min" to reach this hamlet and come out onto a small road with a sign.

(5) Follow the sign for "Vers l'Église" (towards the church). Walk along this small road until you reach the next sign.

(6) Go through the gate and do not take the most obvious path on the right that leads to a property. Take the small path just opposite the gate, marked with yellow posts. After passing through the forest, you will come to a crossroads with a sign.

(7) Continue towards "Les Grangettes, Vers l'Église". Begin a fairly steep descent along a stream and come to a small road.

(8) Turn left towards La Lavanche, taking the Chemin des Grangettes and then the Chemin de la Lavanche.

(9) In the hamlet of La Lavanche, a sign indicates the directions for "Les Fornaches, vers l'Église". Continue in this direction, straight ahead, until you reach a crossroads in the hamlet of La Fontaine.

(10) Turn south towards "Vers l'Église". Cross the Route du Pillon and take a shortcut to rejoin the Route de Vers l'Église. Cross the stream and you will see another sign.

(11) Turn left, heading east towards Les Diablerets. Follow the Route des Côtes to Les Diablerets. Cross the first bridge, just before the railway station, turn left into Rue de la Gare and return to the Hôtel des Chamois, your accommodation for the day (E).
