Description of the walk

Park in the church car park.

(S/E) Follow the road uphill past the church entrance, pass the castle entrance and turn left onto a small tarmac road.

(1) After about 400 m, turn left onto a dirt track that winds through cultivated fields and then descends between hedgerows. Cross the Montretaux stream and come out onto a small road, which you follow to the left.

(2) Turn left at Moulin de la Roberie and follow a tarmac road which becomes a gravel track and leads to the village on the D59.

(3) Turn right towards La Chapelle du Bois and, after 200 m, before the wayside cross, take a grassy path on the left which climbs, leading to a stony path which you follow to the left. After passing some houses, it becomes grassy again and joins a stony path.

(4) Turn left towards the Chevalerie farm. Cross the courtyard and, to the left of a shed, take a small dirt track that descends. Pass through a gate, taking care to close it behind you, and arrive at Beauregard. Follow this small stony track which passes in front of the wash house and leads onto a small road.

(5) Turn left towards the village and return to the church car park (S/E).

Just a question that doesn’t relate to this particular walk, but is of a more general nature: would it be possible to include the percentage of roads compared to footpaths in the walk descriptions? Thank you

A pleasant little walk with sections crossing footbridges over small streams.

A lovely walk with a variety of views, passing through a farmyard with sheep and calves roaming freely and a friendly farmer – ideal for children.
