The walk starts from the car park near the temple.
(S/E) From the car park, head towards the stairs in the west corner and join the road towards the museum. Enter the museum grounds, head towards the pond and turn left onto the lawn towards the wash house. Join the Route du Lavoir.
(1) Turn right, walk past the Protestant cemeteries and continue along the path until you reach the D103.
(2) Cross carefully, turn left and then right onto Rue de la Pauvrenière. Continue along this street and, at the second crossroads, turn left onto Chemin des Prés Andrault until you reach the next junction.
(3) Turn right onto Rue des Planches du Roi and continue to Rue de la Fontaine in Ancay.
(4) Turn right, ignoring the next three streets.
(5) At the bend in Rue de la Règle, turn right onto the white path that passes in front of the wash house and ignore the path on the left. At the junction with a road, continue straight ahead onto Chemin du Ratou until the next junction.
(6) Turn right onto Chemin du Tail and then left onto Chemin de la Plaude. At the junction with Chemin de la Chevallerie, turn left and, 50 metres further on, take the path on the right. At the end, at the wash house, turn right onto the white path. At the next junction, turn left onto Chemin des Champs de la Mare.
(7) Turn right onto Chemin de Champ Peroux. At the next intersection, continue straight ahead. At the T-junction, turn right and continue to the D103. Follow it carefully to the right, then take the path on the right until you reach a road.
(8) Turn left, cross the D103 with caution and continue to Rue du Temple. Enter the museum courtyard again, go behind the temple and reach the town hall on the left. Walk past it and return to the car park near the temple (S/E).
