Park in the car park of the old Coubert station, Rue de la Gare.
(S/E) Join the bench on the old railway line, now called Chemin des Roses, and follow it to the right.
(1) Cross the Route de Soignolles and follow it to the left for 50 metres. Then turn right onto the path that runs between the fields and goes around a water treatment plant on the right. Follow this path southwards. At the first houses, the path gives way to a narrow lane.
(2) At the crossroads, turn right onto Rue de la Planche. After a left turn and before a right turn, when the street descends, take a path between two fences in the bend. You will come to a road; follow it to the left for a few metres.
(3) When the road turns right, continue in the same direction as before and follow a path to the northeast. Walk along the Yerres on your right.
(4) Cross the Yerres on a concrete footbridge without railings and go up the path opposite. At the wall, turn left and then right into Impasse de la Boulangerie, which leads to Rue de Melun. Then turn left.
(5) At the next crossroads, follow Rue de Champeaux to the right. Immediately turn left into Impasse des Écoles. Go around the gymnasium and turn left (end of Rue de Champeaux). Descend towards the Yerres.
(6) Cross the Yerres and continue to the right (south-east). The path continues to the right along a small road with a cycle path between the fields until you reach the ford.
(7) After the ford, take the first street on the left, Chemin du Val d'Yerres, which continues along a path that descends into the woods until you reach a small road, which you take on the left.
(8) After the ford, the road climbs again. Take a path on the right after the second house. This will take you to the old railway track. Turn left and follow the old railway track to return (first make a return trip on the viaduct to enjoy the view and see the commemorative plaque). The track passes under two bridges and takes you back to the station in 3 km (S/E).
