Departure from the school car park, Rue Gustave Delage.
(S/E) When leaving the car park, turn left and walk along the school on your left.
(1) At the end of the street, turn left onto Rue de Meaux. Keep the town hall and then the church on your left.
(2) Then turn right onto Rue Thibault. At the end, turn right onto Rue du Cèdre and leave the cemetery on your left.
(3) At the crossroads, turn left onto Rue de la Forêt. At the end of the tarmac road, continue along a path. At the T-junction, turn right.
(4) At the next T-junction, turn left. Cross a stream and, immediately after a left-hand bend, you will reach an intersection.
(5) Turn right and follow the Bois des Seigneurs on your left. Take the first path on the right. Ignore a path at the corner of a building and you will soon reach a road (D32).
(6) Follow the road to the right to see the entrance to the Retal farm and a wash house. Retrace your steps.
(6) Turn right onto Rue des Données.
(7) At the end of the tarmac road, turn left and then immediately right into a wooded plot.
(8) At the crossroads, turn left. Head east and ignore a path on the right.
(9) At the T-junction, turn right. Cross the Marsange river on a footbridge and climb slightly between the fields. Cross a railway line at the level crossing and you will immediately come out onto a road.
(10) Follow the road to the right and cross the hamlet of Jamard. At the T-junction (elevation 14), turn right. Cross a stream and continue north-northwest.
(11) At the crossroads, turn left towards Courquetaine. Further on, cross a small road carefully and continue on the road opposite. You will come out onto Rue d'Ozouer Le Voulgis.
(12) Follow it to the right. Pass a lake on your left and cross a dead-end road on your right. Pass in front of the church and you will come to a roundabout.
(13) Turn right onto Rue de Villepatour and pass between the town hall on your right and the Château de Courquetaine on your left.
(14) Take the first right, Rue du Bue, and pass at the foot of a water tower. The tarmac soon gives way to a dirt track.
(15) You will come out onto a small road, Chemin des Blatiers, and follow it to the right. Go straight ahead (east) and ignore the turnings on the right. Cross the railway line and you will come to a T-junction.
(16) Turn left and cross the Bois des Glands. Cross the Marsange again on a footbridge.
(17) At the junction, turn left. Go through the housing estates and ignore the turnings on the right.
(18) At the crossroads, turn right into Rue de la Briqueterie. At the end, turn right into Rue de Melun.
(19) At the next intersection, turn left. Continue straight ahead until you reach the junction you took at the start of the walk.
(1) Turn left to quickly return to the school car park (S/E).
