When you arrive in Chambolle-Musigny, cross the village towards Curley and park in the sports ground car park.
(S/E) From the car park, take the path that runs alongside the sports ground and leads to a small chapel. The route continues along the path on the left. The slope quickly becomes steep in the valley.
(1) To reach the promontory overlooking Chambolle-Musigny, turn right at the next crossroads.
(2) After 200 metres, turn right again. This path follows the ridge to the viewpoint.
(3) Retrace your steps back to the valley.
(1) Follow the path to the right for about 50 metres.
At a marker (marked "22"), turn left to follow the path uphill, then turn left twice when you reach the plateau. The route then continues straight ahead, crossing a tarmac road.
(4) At the next intersection, turn right and pass through an open area on your right.
(5) After re-entering the woods, take a stony path down into the Combe d'Orveaux, which you follow on the left into the vineyards and cross them towards Clos Vougeot.
(6) Turn left to walk along the castle walls.
(7) After the building, turn left onto the yellow and red marked path (GRP® des Grands Crus) to reach Chambolle-Musigny. Once in the village, turn left towards Curley and you will reach the car park (S/E).
A simple but interesting route that ends in the vineyards...
