(S) From the car park, take the gently sloping track to the left and, at the junction (signposted), turn right towards the Gorges route.
Walk past the campsite on the left and, at the next junction, turn left onto the concrete track.
Follow it all the way to the sign for the Gorges junction. (sign showing details of each gorge)
(1) Leave the track and head down to the left.
A few metres further on, a sign indicates the first gorge, which requires a short descent to reach.
(2) A magnificent waterfall with a pool that invites you to take a dip (but if you really want to enjoy each waterfall and avoid the crowds, carry on along the route...).
Head back up and continue along the route; the second waterfall (Gorg de la Tosca) is less than 5 minutes from the first.
The route plays with the terrain, alternating descents and ascents in a real yo-yo effect, until it leads you to the final waterfall, the Gran Colomer, which opens out onto a vast expanse.
(3) Make the most of being alone in the world (if you set off early) to consider a swim before heading north-east up the concrete track.
Follow it until you reach the junction marked by the Gorges sign.
(1) Follow the outward route in the opposite direction to return to the car park and bring this spectacular hike to a close (E)
