Park in the dirt car park in the hamlet of Le Perret.
(S/E) Take the road a few metres to the left of the car park and quickly leave it, taking the bridge over the Giffre on the left. Turn left again at the end of the bridge. Start a very short climb to reach the Chapel of Notre-Dame des Grâces.
(1) Continue on theGR® trail. The markings are very sparse, but there are directional signs at every intersection. Follow this beautiful trail and you will easily reach the gorge.
(2) Take a series of very easy ladders to discover this fabulous passage that the Giffre has carved out between the cliffs. Stay on this path and follow the signs for Pont des Stream at the crossroads. Reach this bridge, which allows you to cross the Giffre des Fonts.
(3) Take the street on the left and cross the hamlet of La Chapelle. You will come to a wayside shrine and immediately after that a crossroads.
(4) Take this track on the left, follow the quarry and further on you will rejoin the D907 road at a monument in memory of three children who fell into the Giffre.
(5) Turn left, do not cross the Giffre on the bridge opposite the monument. Continue to the large Via Ferrata car park. Keep left on the downhill track and stay on the right at the next crossroads. Pass the cheese dairy and continue to the Perret car park (S/E).
