Les deux gares depuis Carency

Start from the car park on Rue de la Gare.

(S/E) With the old station on your right, turn right. At the end of the road, first turn right then left.

(1) Turn left onto this road and continue straight on twice until you reach a dirt track. Follow it to the right until you reach the first crossroads, at a place called ‘la Moniquelle’.

(2) Take the path on the right and carry on straight ahead until you reach Le Fournier.

(3) Turn right; at the end, take Rue du 8 Mai on the left and continue straight on until you reach the start of a very wide left-hand bend.

(4) Take the path on the right, turn left immediately, and you’ll come to a cross path.

(5) Turn right and continue straight on until you reach a cross-path at elevation 136.

(6) First turn right then left, and carry on straight ahead until you reach the Grande Rue.

(7) Go down this street to the left for 100 m, then turn right onto Rue de Servin (D65), and take the first street on the left, Rue du Guesnet, until it ends at Rue Pasteur.

(8) Head up this street to the right, and carry on straight ahead along Rue Cernier until you reach the end.

(9) Carry on straight ahead until you reach a small copse. Go past it to reach the Fork in the road at Louvière.

(10) Take the path on the right, passing the British cemetery and the old narrow-gauge railway station, then you’ll reach a road.

(11) Cross it and head straight on along Rue Roger Salengro. At the next junction, carry on straight ahead until you reach the entrance to a wood.

(12) Carry on along the same path until you reach the first houses.

(13) Follow the street that continues from the path until you reach the T-junction and Rue Joliot Curie.

(14) Take the street on the left, then turn right onto Rue du Quai, then right again onto Rue du Moulin. At the top of the street, keep right, then turn left, and rejoin the (S/E).
