Start from the car park on Rue du Quai.
(S/E) With your back to the stream, head right for 50 m, then left onto Rue du Moulin until you reach a junction after the last houses.
(1) Head uphill to the right, then take the first right. Leave the GR®127 and follow this path to the entrance to Ablain-Saint-Nazaire at a road junction.
(2) Head straight on along Rue Garès to join Rue Marcel Lancino (D57). Turn left, then right onto Rue Jules Ferry until you reach the Ruisseau Souchez.
(3) Cross over and turn right to follow the river. Then take the path opposite, which cuts across a circular bend in the river. Cross two more streets to reach Rue Marcel Lancino D57.
(4) Turn right, then left at the first junction, and follow this path to the end.
(5) Turn right, pass Les Osiers and continue to the junction with a road.
(6) Take the path on the left, then turn right onto a gently sloping path. Cross the River Carency again and reach Rue Pasteur D58; follow this to the right for 50 m.
(7) Cross Rue Pasteur with care and continue to the left, along a path that is quite steep at the start. Join the GR®127 and 145 at a junction.
(8) Turn right. Further on, cross a road with care, walk alongside the Bois l’Abbé without entering it, and arrive at a fork where you leave the GR® trails.
(9) Turn right and follow the path to another fork.
(10) Turn left and, at the next junction, turn right onto Rue du 8 Mai.
(11) Follow it to the right until you reach Rue Gambetta D58.
(12) Carefully turn left and then immediately right onto Chemin des Privats. Continue until you reach Rue Roger Salengro.
(13) Follow it to the right until you reach the junction with Rue Juliot Curie on your left.
(14) Take this road, cross the Carency again and join the (S/E).
