(S/E) Depart from Place de la Mairie in Ablain St Nazaire, opposite the church, turn left towards Souchez and take Rue Garès on the right. At the top, turn right.
Continue along Rue d'Arras and at the end turn left onto Rue des Vauchaux, follow the small road uphill to the left, with a right-hand bend.
(1) (elevation 122), turn right to reach the Moulin Topart farm, continue along the road which turns left and take the path on the right (elevation 139).
(2) Sentiers des Dorés Musis; continue straight ahead, then turn right onto Rue Salengro until you reach the crossroads (point 132).
(3) Turn right onto the path towards Gouy-Servins.
(4) Cross the D57, go straight ahead, then turn right.
(5) Cross Place de Gouy, leaving the town hall on your right, then turn left at the end of the square onto Chemin de Vieville, follow the road and take Chemin de la Gamelle opposite a little further on.
(6) Turn left at the side of the fence and continue to the crossroads.
(7) Turn right towards the chapel (oratory).
(8) Chapel and burial place of Arsène Lemaire "La Guérisseuse" (The Healer). Continue right along the path.
(9) Turn left onto the path, which is easily accessible in dry weather but often flooded in winter and during heavy rain.
(10) Place du Boutzeur. Continue straight ahead.
(11) Turn left onto Rue de la Vallée Chauffour and continue along the path heading due east. Join the marked path (elevation 93) and continue straight ahead.
(12) Take the path on the right, walk alongside the football stadium, and return to the square after crossing the bridge.
Arrive at Place d'Ablain and head to Place de la Mairie (S/E).
