The Carency roller coaster

Start from the car park at the village hall, opposite the church.

(S/E) Exit the car park on the right, then at the end turn right onto Rue Jules Ferry. Follow it to Rue du Général Barbot.

(1) Turn left then right, then in the bend, take the path on the right. At the bottom, follow Rue Gambetta (D58) to the left for about 400 m.

(2) Take the first road on the right.

(3) At the end, turn left to immediately reach a fork.

(4) Turn left and continue straight ahead. At the end, you will reach the D58.

(5) First turn left then right to cross the road and continue straight ahead on a field path.

(6) Take the first road on the right.

(7) At the end, first turn right then left onto Rue Pâquerette. At the next intersection, continue straight ahead on a path.

(8) At the end, first turn right then left to continue between the fields, heading north-west.

(9) At the crossroads, turn right into Vallée Niclette. Ignore a turn-off on the left (elevation 118) and continue through the woods.

(10) At a fork, turn left onto Rue Joliot-Curie. When this road turns left, continue straight ahead onto Rue du Quai.

(11) At the end, turn right, cross a stream and follow Rue du Moulin. At the end, turn right. Then take the first left, Rue de Castellane, and you will quickly reach the church and the car park where you started (S/E).
