(3) Before the bridge over the stream, just before reaching the Semois, climb up to your right onto the path that climbs up the rocky slope and leads to the crossroads at Crêtes de Frahan.
(4) Take the GR® alternative route on the left. You will return via the path opposite. Follow the path and, at the fork, choose whichever route you prefer as they both join up further on. Walk along a meadow and its fence. At the corner of the fence, turn left. At the Semois, turn right and follow the Semois to the tobacco drying shed.
Without signposts
(5) Take the path on your right, level with the tobacco drying shed, near the hedge. Climb up and you will come to a path which you follow to the left. At the road, continue and enter the village. Walk towards the church, pass it and pick up the GR® signposting.

(6) After No. 49 on the street and at the Les Roches Fleuries building, turn right onto the path. Follow the red rectangle 30 signpost. Climb up to the place called Crêtes de Frahan.
(7) Enjoy the views of the Frahan footbridge, the Semois river and, above, the village of Rochehaut. Continue along the ridge trail, passing the Rocher de Frahan. Take the path down to La Gragnette, a rock shelter, and then return. Pass Plate Roche, then Ronde Roche.
(8) At the trail on your right, descend to discover the Trou Perpete and climb back up to continue along the ridges. Continue past the Rochers des Quatre Fils Aymon.
(9) Climb the ladder to discover the view from the Château de Montragut. Continue along the trail. Descend and you will arrive at the crossroads you passed on the way there.
No markings
(4) Start on the GR® marked trail opposite and quickly leave it to continue straight ahead on the less marked trail climbing slowly up the hillside. At the top, continue to the left, follow the ridge trail and come out onto a path. Turn left and then right to start again almost opposite. Be careful, as the trail is difficult to see for the first metre due to tall grass. Follow the trail, which at one point climbs up a rock. Stay on the ridge trail.
(10) Turn left at the rock. Continue and, on your left below, you will finally see the road. The trail descends to meet it and turns right.
(1) Go back past the dirt track you took on the way there. Follow the road, cross the N893 with caution and return to the car park. (S/E)
