Car park at the entrance to Les Combes: park just in front of the information sign for Les Combes de la Cazine.
(S/E) Take the small path behind the sign, passing through the wooden gate. Continue along the path through the heather moorland to reach the woods. Head down into the woods to join the path running alongside the stream.
(1) Turn left, following the stream
(2) Leave the return path on your right and continue straight ahead, veering slightly to the left. About fifty metres further on, turn left onto the path, then leave the ascending path on your left and continue straight ahead.
(3) Turn right onto the path sloping gently down towards a meadow. Caution: very wet section near the meadow. Continue straight on to reach an ascending track which will take you to a local road.
(4) Turn right onto the road, take a left-hand bend and continue towards the hamlet of Grosbost.
Turn right at the crossroads, cross the bridge over the Ruisseau de la Cazine, then pass between the buildings. Turn right after them and ignore the first street on the right.
(5) Turn right to pass between two buildings and join a path. Continue along the path which runs alongside meadows and the Ruisseau de la Cazine, which you can see from time to time. Ignore the paths leading uphill on your left and reach a junction.
(6) Turn right onto a very narrow path leading down towards the stream. Cross a small wooden bridge, go down a steep slope to reach the stream, then cross it over the large stones to rejoin the path you took on the way out.
(2) Turn left to head back towards the car park.
(1) Turn right onto the path leading uphill through the woods, cross the heathland once more and return to the car park (S/E).
