Parking is available at the Saegmatt car park, 200 m above the former "Restaurant des Cascades" in Stosswihr/Ampfersbach (at the bottom of the Ampfersbach valley: 48.054042, 7.055381)
(S/E) From the car park, take the forest path marked with a yellow disc towards Stolz Ablass.
(1) At the fork, turn left and you will arrive at the Schlucht stream.
(2) At a place called Sofflat, follow the path to the waterfall shelter. Next to this shelter, take the stony path that winds its way up alongside the Torrent de la Petite Fecht. There are numerous waterfalls along the way to a place called Stolz Ablass. The path leads to a forest track, which you should follow to the left. Cross the two stone bridges.
(3) Take the path on the right which crosses two beautiful waterfalls via footbridges. Continue until you reach the junction with the Sentier des Mulets trail marked with blue horseshoes. Take this very wild path which descends slightly.
(4) At the intersection, turn right downhill onto the forest path marked "Vers le parking Saegmatt" (towards the Saegmatt car park). At the next fork, take the sharp right turn and then, a little further on, the sharp left turn. The path passes through a less dense forest and offers beautiful views of the cliffs overlooking the Sentier des Mulets.
The path leads to the yellow disc marked route taken on the way there.
(1) Continue straight ahead in the opposite direction to the Saegmatt car park (S/E).
