Depart from Grand'Rue, near the town hall. Park in the car park between the post office and the town hall, where you will find an information board about the walk.
The first circular is marked with yellow signs and the number 1.
(S/E) Head towards the town hall, go around it on the left and follow Rue de la Chapoulie northwards.
(1) At the intersection with the road leading to the cemetery, near a picnic table, take the path that descends to the right into the forest. After several hairpin bends, the path runs alongside the Corrèze river.
(2) Take the path that passes under the national road. Go up the wooden stairs and follow the path on the right that runs alongside the railway line (with the river still on your right). Move away from the river and pass under the railway bridge.
(3) At the intersection that appears immediately, turn right. At the next intersection, turn right again. Cross a bridge over a stream and then begin the climb.
(4) The waterfall is signposted off the route. You will need to walk back and forth on a path that can be slippery in wet weather. The path climbs gently back up to the road.
(5) Join a wider path and follow it to the left. Climb gently up to a road.
(6) Follow this road to the left and cross a stream. At the intersection that immediately follows, take the road to the left. Continue on the path that extends from it to the arboretum.
(7) Just after the arboretum, take the path going up to the right. Ignore a path on the left and follow the marked trail to the village of Cornil. Come out onto a street and follow it to the left. At the crossroads, go straight ahead onto Grand'Rue (the car park is on the left).

(S/E) After the pedestrian crossing, turn left onto Rue de Treillard. Turn right shortly afterwards and follow the street for about 50 metres.
(8) Leave the street and take a path that descends to the left towards the station. Return to the road and follow it to the right until you reach the junction with the D1.
(9) Go down the road on the left, leaving the steps on your left. Take the first street on the right, Chemin de Murat. Continue along a slightly uphill path. Ignore the paths on the right.
(10) At the end of the path, follow the road that climbs to the left. At a fork, climb to the right and head for the hamlet of Clayrat.
(11) At the fork, turn left. After about 150m, turn right (path not shown on the map). At the end, cross the road and continue on the path opposite.
(12) When you reach the road, take it on the left. Pass the hamlet of La Grave and reach the hamlet of Cessenat.
(13) Continue climbing left on the road until you reach Mons.
(14) Then take the first street on the right. Ignore a small street on the right and continue along the path. At the crossroads, turn right downhill, passing under the power line.
(15) At the bottom, at a T-junction, turn left. You will come to a small road, which leads to the D1. Follow it to the left. Ignore the first street on the right and continue until you reach the car park where you started (S/E).
