The route follows (almost) exactly the CFL markings, first from Troisvierges to Clervaux (CFL 01) and then from Clervaux to Drauffelt (CFL 03).
Over hill and dale, the route crosses (a little) countryside and (a lot of) forest towards Clervaux, which the walk bypasses on the east side with one or two beautiful views of Saint-Maurice Abbey (Clervaux Abbey).
The surprise (at least for us) was the former monastery of Cinqfontaines (3), which can be clearly seen shortly before the 4 km mark.
The route passes by the S.R.A. monument (7) erected in honour of an Anglo-Belgian crew shot down in 1945 during a British RAF air mission.
At Reuler Höh (15), be sure to take the CFL 03 route... the other route, CFL 02, also takes hikers to Draufflet but involves a detour of about 2 km via Munshausen.
Set off to explore the north of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and, in particular, Clervaux Abbey.
Please note: this hike is not circular and is based on the concept of walks from station to station. We chose to leave our vehicle at the free P+R car park at Drauffelt station, from where the train takes hikers to Troisvierges free of charge (1 train per hour on track 1).

Notes
All forms of public transport (2nd class train, tram, bus) have been free of charge throughout the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for several years.
During floods, the metal footbridge over the Woltz River (11), located just before km 10, can sometimes be a little too short to cross without getting wet. It is best to be aware of this before starting the walk.
There are quite a few benches and picnic tables along this route.
