Wander through the quiet streets, narrow lanes and footpaths of the pretty villages of Lombise and Cambron-Saint-Vincent. Take the Chemin Royal and discover the two châteaux nestled in this beautiful countryside.

Set off to explore the pretty village of Thoricourt, its castle and numerous small chapels.

The vast, gently rolling countryside of this part of Hainaut is dotted with isolated farms scattered between villages and hamlets.The horizon is often blocked by trees, sometimes arranged in copses, sometimes in rows along paths or village streets, and sometimes grouped together in woods, such as those of Cambron or La Provision. And then, here and there, hidden around a bend in the road, you will find a castle or two.

Set off along the paths, trails and beautiful forest lanes to explore the Bois de Ligne and the Saint-Marcoult scrubland, and enjoy the sweeping panoramic views of Wallonia Picarde.This hike follows the start and end of the beautiful circular Boucle à Silly hike in the Mauvinage district.It is, in a way, a longer version that will allow you to discover the Bois de Ligne, the Bois d'Enghien and the Maquis de Saint-Marcoult.

Walk starting from Graty, exploring the chapels nestled in the Bois d'Enghien via little-used lanes, meadow paths and woodland trails. Part of the evening walks organised by the "Plaisir de la marche Silly" group.

This walking route offers panoramic views of magnificent valleys and, above all, Wanze. Gottignies is a beautiful village in the municipality of Le Roeulx, nestled between two hills. The Church of St Léger has just been renovated. Several walking routes are available. Here, the 20 km route is used by the village walking group "Les Marcheurs Gottignards".

Discover Gottignies and Ville-sur-Haine as you follow the meandering course of the Wanze. This river, which can also be spelled "Wance", rises in Montauban and flows through the small village of Gottignies before joining the Haine in Ville-sur-Haine.

The Wanze is a small river that flows through Gottignies and into the Haine at Ville-sur-Haine. This walk takes us to the source of the river, which you can ford. It's a great way to discover the bucolic landscapes of this small village.

Explore the beautiful Rhône countryside and follow the meandering course of this pretty little river. An easy walk, with no large forests to cross but vast landscapes along dirt tracks.

Discover the undivided forest of Stambruges, its avenues and paths, and the mystery of the Fontaine Bouillante. Follow the narrow streets of Belœil and Stambruges and marvel at the Château du Prince de Ligne, the ‘Belgian Versailles’. Two other walks are available: “The Ath-Blaton Canal between Belœil and Stambruges” and “The Mer de Sable, the Fontaine Bouillante and the Blaton-Ath Canal”. This one is intended as a summary of the two (excluding the Mer de Sable) but follows different paths and lanes.

A route through the Bois d'Havré and its beautiful paths, accessible to pushchairs and wheelchairs. With a lovely chapel halfway along the route. The route is dotted with benches and features a fitness trail. A lovely, flat walk.

The name of this village is said to come from the presence of a Roman villa built along the Haine River. The name evolved over the centuries, becoming 'Villa-Super-Hoeniam' (1240), 'Ville-Sour-Haine' (1293), 'Ville-sur-Haysne' (1660) and 'Ville-Sur-Heine' (1744). This walk will take you mainly along the towpaths of the Canal du Centre and the Canal du Centre Historique.

A short walk along a small section of the Ravel and around the bottom of the Levant slag heap. You will see the Levant site and the remains of the old coal mine.If you feel brave enough, you can climb to the top.

The Hyon waterfall, the Trouille river, quiet streets, paths, wooded and country lanes leading up to Bois là Haut enhance this 5 km walk, which is slightly steep in places. Information boards provide details about the history of the waterfall site.

An easy country walk starting from the German-British cemetery of the 1914–1918 war. This cemetery is well worth a visit for its unique layout and its century-old trees, which make it a small botanical park. Here lie the first Commonwealth soldier killed in action and the last! You will notice the presence of numerous flint fragments, which gave the Champ à Cailloux its name.
