Departure: Montsoreau (car park in front of the Tourist Office).

Start/finish: From the car park in front of the Tourist Office/Maison du Parc, return to the banks of the Loire, turn left and follow the river for approximately 2.3 km. Pass under the bridge and continue to the "Port du Turquant".
Cross at the roundabout and continue straight ahead through the green space until you reach the junction of Rue des Ducs d'Anjou, Rue de la Vignole and Rue des Martyres. Turn right, pass in front of the church and, at the town hall, turn left into Rue Antoine Cristal. Take the slate staircase on the right, go around the shared gardens and turn right. At the intersection, turn right and take the metal staircase. At the bottom of the stairs, turn left onto Rue Château Gaillard. Follow this street until you reach the fork. Turn right and continue to the crossroads.
(1) Continue straight ahead, then turn left onto Impasse des Ducs d'Anjou. Take the first path on the left that climbs up the hillside. Continue up to Impasse du Haut Midi, then go to the crossroads.
(2) Go straight ahead. Follow the path through the vineyard and return to the road. Turn right and continue to the crossroads. Go straight ahead and take the first path on the left to return to the road.
(3) Turn left, then immediately right. Continue straight ahead on the path until you reach the Pierre Percée crossroads.
(4) Turn left. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead and return to the road to Fontevraud. Turn left and then immediately right. At the end of the road, turn left. Continue to the Plaine des Joncs crossroads.
(5) Turn right, continue along the road for about 1.5 km and return to the main road. Turn left and continue to Moulin de la Herpinière
(6) Turn right, then immediately left. Follow this road and just before La Perruche, turn right.
(7) Continue straight ahead until you reach the road, turn left and continue to the church.
(8) Turn right onto Rue de l'Église. At the crossroads, go straight ahead and then take the second road on the right. Continue straight ahead until you reach Rue du Moulin de la Tranchée.
(9) Turn right, then left. At the mill, turn left and follow the road until you reach the main road. Turn right and continue straight ahead until you reach the fork.
(10) At the fork, turn left. At the crossroads, take the path up the hill opposite. At the intersection, turn left onto Ruelle Bussy d'Amboise and follow it to the end, then take the path on the right until you reach Haute Rue, where you continue to the right. At the bottom of the street, turn left to reach Quai Philippe de Commines. Cross the quays opposite to return to the starting point. (S/E).
