Starting point: Parnay (car park on the banks of the Loire) – Markings: Yellow
(S/E) From the car park, take the D947 road on your right, then turn right at the first track. Continue to the banks of the Loire.
(1) Turn right, walk along the banks of the Loire for about 1.2 km, then take the fourth path on the right. Walk past the sewage treatment plant and continue to the D947.
(2) Turn right, and after the restaurant La Gabelle, turn left. At the crossroads, carry on straight ahead until you reach the wash house.
(3) Turn left onto Rue Bideaux, then take the second right. After about 50 metres, the road gives way to a track. Follow this track and, at the next two junctions, carry straight on. Return to the road.
(4) Turn left, then take the track immediately on your right and carry straight on to the Pierre Percée crossroads.
(5) Turn right, then left. Follow this track until you reach the road. Cross over to the other side and carry on until you reach the junction.
(6) Turn left, then right. At the next four crossroads, carry straight on. Continue to the houses in the hamlet of Le Marconnay.
(7) Turn left, then right, and rejoin the D947.
(8) Turn right and take the second street on your right.
(9) Turn left into La Basse Rue. At the junction, carry straight on, then leave the road and take the footpath.
(10) Turn slightly to the right, then left, and then right again. Return to the road and turn left. Continue to the next junction.
(11) Turn left, then left again onto Rue André Sanzay. At the next junction, take the small track on the left. Return to the starting point (S/E).
