Departure from the Cruis car park. This car park is located on the D951 departmental road next to the bakery.
(S/E) When leaving the car park, turn left onto the departmental road, follow it for about 100 metres, then take the second street on the right, Chemin des Olivettes. Look out for a pretty wash house on the right.
Go up Chemin des Olivettes, ignore the path on the left about 500 metres from the start of the climb and continue to the fork.
(1) Take the tarmac road on the left, Chemin de Notre-Dame de Lure. Continue to the next fork (Bas du Defends) and turn left towards Jas de Roche. When you reach the crossroads, continue straight ahead for about 50 metres.
(2) Turn left onto the path that climbs upwards, still marked in yellow. Continue this climb to reach a new track, which you take to the right.
(3) Turn left and continue along the track, which narrows slightly and leads to a crossroads where you will see Jas Roche on your right at the end of a large meadow.
(4) Turn right and, about 60 metres further on, take a small path on the right which soon begins a fairly steep climb. At the top of the climb, continue along a flat path until you reach a track which you should follow to the left (signposted Jas de Pierrefeu). Follow this track for about 2 km.
(5) Please note that on the right, a sign for "Jas de Pierrefeu" indicates a small path that winds downhill and leads to Jas de Pierrefeu.
(6) A sublime view stretching out to infinity: an orientation table will help you find your bearings. An ideal spot for a picnic, except in very hot weather.
Continue for about 50 metres, then turn left, following the yellow markings. Immediately keep to the right on a path that crosses a track further on. Follow the small path opposite, which descends to Jas Neuf, the third and last jas on the hike.
(7) At the crossroads, follow the track on the right, which descends gently for about 2 km (ignore the two crosses on a tree). Descend, ignoring the paths on the right, until you reach the Sapée crossroads.
(8) Turn left and continue straight ahead towards Cruis. At thesecond path on the left, continue for 30 m to discover a magnificent panorama of the Alps and a viewpoint over Les Mées.
(9) When you reach the main track, turn left and continue to a crossroads where there is a large asphalt patch.
(10) Take the descent on the right, ignoring the paths on the left, and continue straight ahead to reach an asphalt road which you follow downhill to the crossroads at the oratory.
(11) Turn right to join the D951 departmental road. Follow this road on the right to reach the car park (S/E).
