Parking and the start of the route are at the car park next to the church in Annay-la-Côte.
(S/E) Head south-east along Rue Saint-Marcel, past the church and then the town hall.
(1) Just after the town hall, take the first street on the right (downhill) until you reach the D138. Pass under the railway line.
(2) Turn right onto the track running alongside the railway line.
(3) Turn left, go under the power lines and then carry on straight ahead. Cross the D128 and continue along the path opposite.

(5) Turn right, then immediately left onto a small, unmaintained track, which is hard to see due to the tall grass. You’ll reach the old Roman road.
(6) Turn right to follow it and rejoin the D128.
(7) Cross the road by first turning left then right, continue downhill and cross the bridge over the Ruisseau de Bouchin.
(8) Turn right onto the path which leads further on to a road; follow this to the left. Cross the level crossing.
(9) Immediately take the path on the right and continue straight on until you reach the D166.
(10) Cross carefully and head towards the village of Annay-la Côte. Pass under the power lines again, go straight on at the first junction and join the D138.
(11) Head straight towards the village, then turn left towards the village, going uphill via Rue de la Malaise.
(12) At the junction, go straight on across the D138, then turn right to return to the area around the church (S/E).
