Start from the car park on Rue du Moulin de Chaoué in Allonnes.
(S/E) Turn right into Allée des Frères Rocher, then right again to take the path running alongside the Sarthe.
(1) Through the trees, you will be able to see Château de la Forêterie on your right. It is more visible on the left on the way back. Continue along the river.
(2) Turn right onto the path, which leaves the riverbank.
(3) Turn left, go round a residential area, then head back down to the river and follow it again.
(4) Turn left to cross the river and reach the lake.
(5) Take the path that runs along the lake on the right. Walk past the beach and then the toilets.
(6) Continue round the lake to return to the junction you passed earlier and cross the Sarthe again.
(4) Take the path on the right to follow the river. Continue back along the same route as on the way out.
(3) Go straight on until you reach the residential area of Les Muloteries.
(7) Turn right to reach the river, then turn left to continue the return journey along the same path beside the Sarthe. Turn left to return to the car park (S/E).
