Park at the Canal du Midi on the Écluse de l'Évêque car park near the Château de Villecarla.
(S/E): Join the D201 road and follow it for 300 metres to the left. Watch out for cars and walk on the hard shoulder. Cross the road and take the path on the right signposted "Les cabanes dans les bois" (The cabins in the woods).
(1) Leave the path on the right, continue and, at the next fork, turn left.
(2) Leave the gravel path on your right and continue along the parallel path on the left. It leads to the tomb of a great man who deserves a little maintenance!
(3) Turn back to the crossroads.
(1) Turn left onto the straight path that leads to the Domaine de Fourtou on the left.
(4) Continue straight ahead for about 400 metres, then turn onto the path that climbs to the right. Panoramic views.
(5) The path bends before descending towards Villedubert. Continue, cross the village by cutting across the D201 and follow Rue de L'Église opposite, which descends to the edge of the canal.
(6) Follow the grassy towpath on the right, which will take you back to the starting point (S/E).
