Description of the walk

Leave your car in the centre of Chavençon.

(S/E) Head towards the village exit on the church side, following the white-and-red markings. Take Rue aux Vaches.

(1) On leaving the village, turn left onto the red-and-white marked track towards Neuville-Bosc and, further on, enter the Bois de Chavençon. In the forest, continue to follow the same markings.

(2) Follow the yellow R3-marked path to the right. After the Buttes de Rosne, continue to the left and take the road.

(3) Continue along the small road and pass the highest point in Île-de-France at 214 m.
