Park on the side of Chemin des Bruyères. This street has very little traffic and it is easy to park your car on the side.
(S/E) Walk down this street to a crossroads near the cemetery.
(1) Take the wide dirt track on the right and follow theGR®11markings to a T-junction, ignoring the track that branches off to the left a little further on.
(2) Turn left for about 50 metres, then right.
The path climbs between fields and woods. Follow it to the outskirts of Hénonville, which is easy to recognise as you will come to a small campsite.
(3) Turn left immediately after the entrance to a large field and go around it on a path that slopes gently down to a small asphalt road.
(4) Follow it to the left until you reach the first path on the right.
(5) Follow this wide path to the right through the woods. You will come to another path that branches off to the right and descends; take this path. It ends in a small trail in the middle of a sloping meadow and leads to the D121 road. Follow this road to the left until you reach a path on the left.
(6) Take this path, reach a Y-junction a few dozen metres further on and continue to the right.
Pass between the fields until you reach the entrance to Grand Alleré, a small, very quiet hamlet where the path becomes a small road. Go down this street and a little further on, take the main street on the right, Rue des Vignes.
(7) At the small crossroads, take the lane on the left which runs alongside a small pond, then a small stream after a right-angle bend, and comes out onto the D121 road again. Follow it to the left for about 200 metres.
(8) Turn onto the wide path that passes between the houses on the left, then turn immediately right onto a small footpath. It runs alongside the gardens of the houses, at the edge of the fields, and leads to a path (Rue de la Cavée). Turn left to climb towards the village exit and arrive at an open plateau. The path splits into a Y, take the left path and walk alongside a small wood.
(9) Turn onto the first path on the left towards the fields. After a first almost right-angle turn, ignore the path that branches off to your left and continue down this path. After another turn, a small path ends at this main path. Continue to the right until you reach the road, which you must cross. The path climbs up the other side and arrives between the houses. Continue straight ahead towards the forest.
(10) Take the path on the left that branches off under the trees after the last house in Neuville-Bosc. This path follows the edge of the forest, crosses a stream and ends at a T-junction in the forest. Turn left and then immediately right. Follow the forest along this path, which ends at a small road at the top of Cresnes.
(11) Take the road on the left. At the crossroads, continue left, follow Rue des Grouettes on the left, then take Chemin des Bruyères on the right until you reach your car (S/E).
