Description of the walk

Departure from the Saint-Jorioz landing stage car park, located at the end of Route du Port, which is accessible from the D1508 (roundabout at the junction of Route d'Annecy and Route d'Albertville).

Signposts + yellow arrow marker posts

(S/E) Upon exiting the car park, turn left towards the clearly visible landing stage and pass through a metal chicane.

(1) At the "Débarcadère" signpost, you can make a quick return trip to the landing stage, which offers a superb view of Lake Annecy and the surrounding peaks.

(1) Head towards the reed bed, on the left when coming back from the landing stage, on the right when coming directly from the car park. Walk along the Saint-Jorioz marina on your left and its car park on your right.

(2) At the end of the marina, take a footbridge over a stream and continue along the lake on a stabilised path lined with small plane trees.

(3) Pass a water sports centre on your right and stay as close as possible to the lake and the first reed beds.

(4) At the "Les Roselières" signpost, turn left onto a tarmac path. Stay as close as possible to the lake and the reed beds and ignore all the paths on the right. Alternate between stabilised and tarmac paths. Note the beautiful lakeside houses on the right. You will come to a beautiful house on the left, at no. 168. We suggest turning back here because beyond this point, the lake is no longer accessible and you will quickly reach the D1508 road, which is extremely busy.

(5) Return via the same route in the opposite direction. At the "Les Roselières" signpost (4) and the water sports centre (3), be sure to turn right.

(1) At the "Débarcadère" signpost, turn left and you will immediately find the car park where you started (S/E).
