Park in the hiking car park at the exit of the hamlet of La Trouche in the direction of Celles-sur-Plaine.
(S/E) Leave the car park and follow the departmental road towards the hamlet of La Trouche.
(1) After crossing the departmental road, carefully enter the cul-de-sac and turn right towards the bridge over the Plaine to join the greenway.
(2) Starting on your right and immediately to your left, you will find a path marked by red trestles that climbs towards the Rocher des Vannes.
(3) Pass between the huge boulders and continue to follow the red signposts indicating the direction of Neufmaisons. A little further on, you can see the Trapp quarries of Raon-l'Étape.
(4) Follow the path on the left towards Croix Marie.
(5) At the hamlet, continue following the same markings.
(6) At this point, leave the red signposts on your left and take the path marked with yellow crosses on your right towards Rocher Cuny.
(7) Descend the path on the left to Rocher Cuny, a large vertical rock face on the left, somewhat hidden by vegetation.
(8) Continue downhill following the yellow crosses.
(9) Leave the main forest road and rejoin the small path that leads to the Maison Forestière de la Forge Evrard. Please note that the start of the path on your left is a little way off the main road.
(10) Follow the greenway south-west to the bridge over the Plaine.
(2) Return to the car park (S/E) by retracing your steps.
