Park at the Col de Vizzavona.
(S/E) Take the road that climbs to the right or left (south-east) depending on your direction of arrival towards the relay antenna.
(1) When you reach the relay station, go through the barrier and turn left towards the Pozzi sheepfolds.
At the sheepfolds, head left. Be careful, it's a steep climb and the path is very stony until you reach Rocher de la Madonuccia.
(2) At the rock, enjoy the view of Monte d'Oro, then follow the yellow dots downhill through a pine forest. There is a yellow cairn at this point.
(3) At the fork, turn left and continue downhill, following several hairpin bends. You will reach a track.
(4) Follow this track to the left and continue to another fork.
(5) Turn left at the 'sentier' sign, heading towards Col de Vizzavona, and join the road.
(6) Follow the road to the left for about 100 metres, then leave it and turn left towards the Notre-Dame des Neiges chapel. Pass in front of the chapel and rejoin the road about 400 metres further on.
Cross (with caution) and continue on the left to reach the pass car park (S/E).

Magnificent hike with an exceptional 360° view at the Madonnuccia rock
