Le Puy Saint-Georges

From the Valence d'Albigeois road (D903), turn off at the hamlet of Le Pesquieyras onto the D69 and park at the^first junction, at the side of the road (two spaces).

(S/E) With your back to the D69, follow the road to the left and pass in front of the Guillou farm.

(1) Just behind the farm, a sign points to “Puy Saint-Georges”. Follow this grassy path, which climbs steadily, until you reach a Fork in the road.

(2) Ignore the path on the right and continue along the one on the left until you reach a gate.

(3) Open the gate to pass through, close it carefully, and arrive at the site of Puy Saint-Georges, where the ruins of the 13th-century Saint-Barthélémy Church stand.

(4) Enjoy the panoramic view over the Ségala plateaus and even the Pyrenees.
Return along the same route to the car park (S/E).

No particular difficulties.
