An easy hike offering a pleasant, flower-filled route in spring. The arrival at Pré Royer offers a beautiful view of greenery and a superb view of the Cheiron ridges. When the weather is clear, there is a lovely panorama towards the sea, on the Esterel side. However, the beginning of the walk is less interesting, with electricity pylons spoiling the landscape.

A very enjoyable experience. A very pleasant hike, but definitely not in summer. The only downside is that parking is prohibited almost everywhere except in the car park, which is not very large and gets very busy.

A beautiful route surrounded by nature. Well marked, but be careful when you leave the GR, as there is no longer a path but a field to cross, and a GPS is essential. Once again, the elevation gain is inaccurate as it is calculated from the contour lines. There are two steep hills to climb, so the actual elevation gain is around 350 m. The environment is very pleasant, very green with beautiful undergrowth. Stay alert when approaching pastures.

Thank you for this varied and relatively easy route. Steep climbs and descents are rare and short-lived. There are plenty of opportunities to admire the Pré Royer meadows and the hillsides, which are still green at this time of year.

We had a brief moment of uncertainty when following the trail between (3) and (4), but the GPX track put us back on the right path.
Another note: my altimeter watch shows a cumulative elevation gain of +/- 300 m, not 200 m.

We recommend this very nice 3-hour route, which can be done at a leisurely pace.

A pleasant hike, we walked for 3 hours.
The high-voltage power lines can spoil the view a little, but the landscape offers beautiful panoramic views.

A beautiful hike in the hinterland that makes you easily forget the proximity of the sea and the coastline; you feel like you're in the mountains, or almost.
The signs are clear and the scenery is magnificent. It's a really easy hike, and the uphill section is pleasant because it's continuous and steady.
We only came across six people along the entire route.

The only downside is the almost constant presence of high-voltage power lines in your field of vision.

Despite this, the hike is very enjoyable, and we will definitely return to this area to do others.
