(S/E) From the car park near the Maison du Plateau, look for the sign by the road indicating the direction of Notre-Dame des Neiges. Head south-west down a good path, ford a small stream, then climb back up to pass near a farm. Descend towards the large pay car park of a restaurant.
(1) At the far end of the car park, turn right, still heading towards Notre-Dame des Neiges. Cross a stream via a footbridge, then continue through the woods until you reach a crossroads.
(2) Ignore the turn-off to the right with a car park and head south along a good path on the edge of the mountain pastures. Pass close to the Notre-Dame des Neiges chapel and continue to the next intersection.
(3) Turn left and continue along the path until you reach a bend, then begin a long climb north-east.
(4) Ignore the turn-off on the left and continue to the right. You will reach Plan du Loup (1,689 m).
(5) Take the path on the right for a slightly more challenging climb up Pas du Loup. You will reach an alpine pasture and continue slightly downhill to Chalets des Auges.
(6) Turn around.
(5) Take the path marked "Retour Maison du Plateau direct en 40 minutes" (Return to Maison du Plateau directly in 40 minutes), which initially descends in tight hairpin bends.
(7) Leave the path leading to Les Mouilles on your left and continue towards Maison du Plateau. After a final short climb, you will return to the car park (S/E).
