A very pleasant climb through the woods, culminating in an exhilarating panoramic view at the summit. However, you must continue along the path (which is not clearly marked) to the cross to enjoy the view of the Mercoire Forest and the Margeride Mountains.

Hello,
We did this hike on 17 September, but unfortunately the weather was very cloudy, foggy and windy. So there was no view from the top of La Gardille, which made the hike less interesting.
The trail was very quiet, but that's not surprising given the time of year and the weather.
Most of the hike is on very wide, drivable tracks, which is a bit monotonous.
We parked the car at the foot of the Mirandol viaduct, where there isn't necessarily much space.
