Departure: car park opposite the town hall and the Galetti Museum.
(S/E) Continue west along the road, which quickly turns into a path. Cross the river and go up the opposite bank. Follow the Chemin de la Vieille Cure on the right. Turn left at the next crossroads and stay on the road.
(1) At a right-hand bend in the road, take a path on the left for a round trip to the ruins of Mauchamp Castle.
(1) On your return, continue left on the road and arrive at Vieille Cure. At the first right-hand bend, take a path on the left that leads to a cross (elevation 701) with a viewpoint. Retrace your steps, take the road on the left and then, at the right-hand bend, leave the road and take the path on the left.
(2) After about 200 metres, turn right for a return trip to the ruins of the tower.
(2) On the way back, continue north on the path. Pass the path on the left coming from Grésin and make a wide loop to the right.
(3) Cross a stream and turn left towards Cupied. Follow a road for a few metres, then continue on a relatively flat path, heading north then north-east.
(4) Turn left for a return trip to the Belvédère des Fils viewpoint.
(4) On the way back, continue for about 100 metres (north-east) on the road, then take the path on the left at the entrance to the right-hand bend in the road. Continue to another road.
(5) Then turn left. The road will turn into a stony path as it climbs towards Les Sérus.
(6) At a fork at the edge of the woods, turn right (east-southeast). At the next crossroads, turn left towards Yenne. Join theGR®9and follow it to the right for about 100 metres.
(7) Leave theGR®9by turning right uphill towards Mont Tournier. At a fork, follow the path on the right.
(8) Turn right (north-west) for a round trip to the summit of Mont Tournier.
(8) On the way back, turn right and continue to the next intersection.
(9) Turn left (south) and join the Col du Mont Tournier road.
(10) Take this road, climbing to the left.
(11) At the next crossroads, leave the D42 and take the track on the right towards La Lattaz. Stay on this track for 1.5 km, ignoring the paths and trails on either side, until you reach La Lattaz.
(12) Turn right onto the road and walk for about 400 metres.
(13) Leave the road and take the marked path on the left. Follow the path downhill to Saint-Maurice de Rotherens. Cross the D42 and head for the town hall (S/E).
