Departure from the centre of the village of Grésin.
(S/E) Head north-west along the road for 150 metres
(1) Take a path that climbs north, crossing a road and soon coming out onto another road. Turn right and then immediately left.
(2) Head north up a small road that turns into a path. The path turns east, joining theGR®9, then north, crossing a small stream.
The hamlet of Cupied is then 200 m away. Cross it while staying on theGR®. At a place called Le Fay, a sign indicates that the site of Les Fils is 500 m away.

(4) Follow the path until you reach a small road, where you should turn left.
(5) This road will soon turn into a path. The signposts indicate La Pierre Vire, the next destination on the hike. It is a small viewpoint above the Rhône marked by a large rock. Note the shell symbol on the signposts.
(6) Continue to follow the Saint Jacques de Compostelle trail carefully. It will descend gently to the starting point, passing through the hamlet of Le Borgey.
(7) Continue south until you reach an intersection
(8) Turn left at the intersection, come out onto a road and turn left.
(9) Follow the road and at the next intersection take the path on the right.
(10) You will reach the village of Saint-Maurice-de-Rotherens.
(11) Leave the village by turning right to find a path. The path crosses a road.
(12) Continue towards Grésin to return to the crossroads you passed on the way there.
(2) Turn right and follow the same route as on the way there to return to the car park in the village of Grésin (S/E).

Very beautiful, easy hike with plenty of shade. It was very hot yesterday on the way back, but there was a beautiful view of the Rhône
