Departure: On the D72, head towards Trois-Palis coming from Angoulême. At the hamlet of Libourdeau, turn left onto Rue du Gros Chêne and continue to Rue Des Prés Jolis. Park at the side of the road.
(S/E) At the end of Rue du Gros Chêne, turn left onto Chemin des Ronds Paillis and walk alongside the vineyards. At the end of this road, turn right and head towards the TGV bridge.
(1) Turn left, go under the bridge and continue along the road until you reach the crossroads.
(2) Continue to the right until you reach the banks of the Charente river, then turn left and follow the path to the confluence of the Charente and Nouère rivers.
(3) Continue to the Îles de Fleurac.
(4) Turn right, cross the river via the four bridges, from island to island, and reach the other bank of the Charente.
(5) Take the towpath on the right. Pass the Mothe lock and continue to the bridge in the hamlet of La Meure.
(6) Cross the Charente, turn right onto the path that leads to the river and continue on the left along the towpath until you reach the first crossroads.
(7) At the fork, turn left onto Chemin de la Meuré. Follow this road to reach the church in Trois-Palis.
(8) Turn right onto Rue Ancienne d'Angoulême and return to the starting point via this road. (S/E)
