Park in the village square, opposite the church.
(S/E) With your back to Rue de l'Astrée (D1), turn left onto Rue du Val d'Aix. At the fork, keep left and head towards the sewage treatment plant.
(1) Turn right onto Chemin d'Aix and continue straight on until you reach the D26.
(2) Cross the road carefully to reach a path, almost directly opposite, on the left. Follow the right bank of the Aix.
(3) Keep right at the junction, pass through the hamlet of Bray and continue to the bridge.
(4) Turn left to cross the bridge leading to the left bank. Pass the Moulin du Gué and take the path on the left, then continue left along the path leading down to the river.
(5) Follow the left bank of the Aix. At the T-junction, turn left to continue along the river and come out onto the Route du Château d’Aix, opposite the hamlet. Continue for a few dozen metres, keeping in the same direction, then turn onto the path on the left.
(6) Turn left, then immediately right to cross the bridge. Then turn right onto the Chemin des Rivières and continue to the inverted Y-junction.
(7) Turn left to rejoin Rue du Val d'Aix, but in the opposite direction. Then take thefirst path on the right to rejoin Rue de l'Astrée (D1).
(8) Cross carefully and follow the street, turning left. Turn right immediately onto Chemin de l'Atelier to reach Montée de la Chaux. First turn right then left to enter Rue de la Chapelle Sainte-Barbe and reach the chapel.
(9) Retrace your steps slightly to turn right onto Montée du Château, and admire the sculpture exhibition as you pass. Then turn left onto Place du Château, passing the town hall, and continue along Rue du Père Lachaise. Cross Rue de l'Astrée to return to the village square (S/E).
