Leave your vehicle in the car park at the Friscati Necropolis.
(S/E) Follow the ‘Chemin du Souvenir’ (Wibrotte Path, marked with Red Rings) to your left up to the summit of Léomont, passing through the hamlet known as ‘Les Quatre Vents’ and crossing the D2G.
(1) Head to the summit, where you’ll find an information board, the Léomont Memorial and a guide post with a 360° view. Retrace your steps back to the previous junction.
Follow the Red Ring signposting towards Deuxville.
You’ll reach the D2G.
(2) Follow it to the left for about 100 metres, then turn right onto the path through the fields, still following the Red Ring markings towards Deuxville.
You will reach a farm track, signposted ‘Red DiamondGR®®534’.
(3) Turn right onto this track and follow the markings as you pass through the village.
(4) On leaving the village, heading towards Maixe, at the bend, take the path on the right between two houses, which climbs quite steeply up onto the plateau. Keep following the Red Diamond markings as you cross another road (the D70A), taking the path directly opposite.
You’ll come out onto a wide farm track once more.
(5) Follow it westwards, i.e. to the right, to reach the Ferme Saint-Epvre.
(6) At the farm, turn left, continuing on theGR®®534; cross a small wood via a slightly muddy path to reach the Sentier des Folies.
(7) Head down to the right along the Sentier des Folies, leaving theGR®® here, until you reach the La Galopade riding centre.
(8) Turn right, walk past the La Galopade riding centre and head back up the road to the starting car park (S/E).
